The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers. They manage the daily operations, staff, customer satisfaction, and financial performance of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Train and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Set schedules, allocate duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints or concerns.
  • Interact with customers to gather feedback and improve overall dining experience.
  • Train staff in customer service standards and protocols.

 Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor and control operational costs to optimize profitability.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Menu and Quality Control:

  • Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus, ensuring variety and quality.
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and portion sizes to maintain high standards.
  • Address quality control issues and work to continuously improve food offerings.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Participate in promotional events and activities to enhance restaurant visibility.
  • Utilize social media and other marketing channels to promote the restaurant.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a related role. (at least 5years experience)
  • Knowledge of Stock keeping, procurement of foodstuff, drinks & beverages
  • Ability to drive sales, increase Customer base and revenue for Restaurant business.
  • Ability to appreciate international cuisines, having international exposure as well as ability to speak 1 local language would be an advantage to applicants.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
