RESTAURANT BAR MANAGER (EXPAT)

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant shall be responsible for daily operations including bar operations in the restaurant. He/ She shall maintain high level customer service and satisfaction. The role reports to the CEO.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Supervises operation of restaurant including bar area.
  • Effectively delegate jobs and responsibilities to restaurant staff.
  • Monitor purchasing of supplies and perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
  • Work with management personnel to plan and organise restaurant events.
  • Organise and oversee regular training of all restaurant staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Required Skills or Experience

  • HND/Degree in hospitality and Hotel management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in a similar role in a foreign country is required.
  • Knowledge about wine, spirits and cocktails.
  • Ability to take bar stock as and when required.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage management.
