About The Job
A Pharmaceutical Company in Accra is looking for a procurement pharmacist to supervise the procurement team and coordinates workflow and services related to the department.
Incumbent’s Responsibilities:
Coordinates procurement operations and inventory management to ensure availability and accurate inventory value assessment.
Identifies and evaluates available and new technologies to assist in inventory management.
Maintains oversight of emergency supplies.
Manages price changes and price updates.
Supervises, orients, trains, schedules, provides functional guidance to and evaluates the performance of the team.
Continually review and analyzes operations recommending and implementing operational changes, new technologies, etc. that will increase the efficiency and level of service of the pharmacy in collaboration with the supervisor.
Participate in continuous quality assessment and improvement activities and medication storage and safety.
Maintains all purchase records, receipts and inventory control records.
Practical knowledge of warehouse and management of a chain of retail Pharmacies is an added advantage.
Your Profile:
At least 1-2 years in a similar position.
Experience working in a Pharmaceutical Sector is an advantage.
Program of study- Doctor of Pharmacy
Strong communication skills
Proactive and self-driven individual.
