Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the activities of the teller operations area by assigning work, answering questions, helping with complex transactions annd sentitive client problems, explaining policies and procedures to both tellers and clients, and providing assistance to the teller and other staff when needed.
- Assign duties and work schedules to tellers and other clerical staff to ensure efficient functioning of the branch.
- Examine teller’s reports of daily transactions for accuracy
- Count and record currency of notes and coins on vault.
- Monitor the inventory of supplies in the teller operations area and manage and recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies
- Consolidate and balance daily transactions
- Serve as a custodian of the vault
- Prepare relevant regulatory and management report
Required Skills or Experience
- HND/University Diploma in Accounting/Finance or any other related field
- At least two (2) years’ experience in similar role
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Ability to work with less supervision
- Ability to pay keen attention to details
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
