Our company is currently in search of a highly-analytical and qualified estimator to join our team. Your central goal will be to prepare accurate estimate reports for projects by gathering information, analyzing important metrics, and conducting regular risk assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Estimating materials costs based on material prices and labor costs
- Identifying which materials are needed for each type of roofing project, including shingles, decking, or other materials
- Determining the appropriate type of roofing for each situation based on the size of the structure, number of stories, exposure to sunlight/weather conditions, etc.
- Inspecting roofs to determine if there are any signs of damage or need for repair or replacement
- Creating detailed drawings or sketches of proposed construction plans for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the project
- Calculating square footage measurements of roofs to determine the amount of material needed to complete a project
- Providing estimates of labor costs and material costs based on the type of roofing material, size of the structure, and complexity of the project
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma or HND
- 1+ years of experience
- Should live around Tamale and environs
