Accounts Officer

As an Accounts Officer, your primary responsibility is to support the financial operations of the organization. You will assist in various accounting tasks, including financial recordkeeping, report generation, and financial analysis. Your role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial information and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Job Description:

  • Filing and maintenance of financial transactions
  • Asset register management
  • Processing of bills for students
  • Data entry into accounting software
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Recording and filing cash and cheque transactions (vouchers)

Requirements:

  • A Diploma/Degree in Accounting
  • Knowledge in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft office
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting field, more will be a plus
  • Ability to confidentiality of financial information
  • Attentive to details.
